Andrea has had a lifelong interest in all vintage and antique jewellery but has collected and studied fine antique jewellery in particular since she was a student. As a trained Classical archaeologist, her interest and knowledge also extends to the jewellery of the ancient Mediterranean civilisations of Egypt, Greece and Rome. Her interests and expertise are therefore eclectic and wide-ranging, encompassing the gold and gems of the ancient world, the jewellery of the early historical period through to that of the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods as well as the antique and vintage costume/designer jewellery of the 19th and 20th centuries.
